Kasie Campbell
Visual Artist on the Wards

The Friends Artists on the Wards program is pleased to announce our newest staff artist – Kasie Campbell. A visual artist working in Edmonton, AB, Kasie works with a variety of media including sculpture, installation, new media and performance, and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Alberta. She most recently displayed her work “Matrilineal Threads” at this year’s Works Festival, a project she completed in collaboration with her late mother. In her art practice, she has witnessed the power of artful expression to elevate the quality of life of someone experiencing illness. Kasie believes that art can save lives and that it does so every day.

We are looking forward to Kasie’s contribution to the creative environment at the University of Alberta Hospitals!
