INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Thank you to all the nominators who shared their thoughts and stories about the amazing women they work with. Congratulations to all the AHS staff who were nominated for our Portrait Project that celebrated International Women’s Day this year. Stop by the display in After Hours Gallery, 1J1 hallway, to see the final portraits of the women who have had a meaningful impact on our hospital community.

Join the Friends of University Hospitals in celebrating the amazing women on staff at the Mazankowski Heart Institute, the University of Alberta Hospital and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic.

Do you know a female colleague who inspires you and who has had a positive impact on patients, staff and families? We would like to honour several of these inspiring women who have had a meaningful impact on our community by having our Artist on the Wards, Jennie Vegt, draw their portraits. Please nominate your candidate below by answering at least one of the following three questions.

A total of four submissions will be randomly selected and then drawn by one of our Artists on the Wards, Jennie Vegt. The drawings will be framed, displayed with their submission and gifted to the nominees.

The first draw will be March 8, but submissions will be accepted until March 31.

Although all submissions may not be drawn, all photos and write ups will be displayed.
